
Mary Hester, a Pittsburgh native brings over 20 years of real estate and mortgage expertise to her role as a distinguished leader in the industry.
Recognized as a change maker and business owner, Mary's dedication and leadership has earned her the 2025 Pittsburgh Magazine 'Women in Business' award and the 2024 New Pittsburgh Courier 'Women of Excellence' award. Her impact in the real estate space contributed to Keller Williams naming her 2021 ‘Icon of the Year’ and East Liberty Development, Inc. 2023 ‘Impact' award’.
Mary's impact however extends beyond individual transactions, serving on the board of directors for Penn Hills Community Development Corporation and chair of the Hill District Federal Credit Union’s Mortgage Advisory Committee. She currently leads 'The Mary Hester Group', a dynamic team within the Coldwell Banker ecosystem while maintaining a multi-million dollar sales performance record.
Mary's journey in real estate advocacy stems from her passion for community and the robust relationships with local banks, non-profits, and city agencies. Mary advocates for first-time homebuyers and aids in the leveraging of funding sources to create affordability for families where gaps exist.
A graduate of Penn Hills Senior High School, Mary furthered her education at Point Park University, LaDolce Real Estate Academy and the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Mary is a proud mother of four and grandmother of six. Her passion for travel, painting, and outdoor recreation complements her outgoing nature and dedication to providing positive life experiences personally and professionally.
